A Central Lafourche softball standout has announced her collegiate home.
Isabella Borne announced on social media that she is committed to Centenary College – the place where she will play her softball beyond the prep level.
Borne is a rising senior who has one more year of eligibility.
She is a utility player who is capable of playing all over the diamond for the Trojans. Last season, she hit .415 with 33 RBIs and had an on-base percentage north of .570.
Borne was an Honorable Mention All-Region Player who is going to be one of the top returnees in our area – a player who hopes to continue to blossom and build on her already immense resume of success.
