The top player in the NCAA women’s basketball transfer portal is a Tiger.
Louisville transfer Hailey Van Lith announced today that she has committed to LSU, the program where she will play the remainder of her collegiate career.
Van Lith was an All-American caliber player at Louisville. She averaged 19.7 points per game and was the best player on a team that made the NCAA Elite 8.
With LSU, Van Lith will be another cog in a team that is loaded – the defending national champions who return Angel Reese and others, and who also have the No. 1 high school signing class in the country.
Van Lith had ties to LSU coach Kim Mulkey and nearly signed with Baylor out of high school. She will immediately be a starter and one of the top players in the SEC for 2023-2024.
