A local AAU basketball team sits 2 wins away from winning the YBOA National Championship.
Ball Hard Elite’s 9th grade boys team won 2 bracket play games today, pushing into the Semifinals at the YBOA National Championships in Florida.
The boys rolled, scoring a 78-36 win over a team from Manhasset, Florida, then a 59-49 win over the Wolves, a team from Alabama, to get to the Semifinals where they will face the Blazin Heat from Florida.
Ball Hard Elite is an AAU team that features some of the top 9th grade players from around the bayou region.
The boys will try and bring home the tournament title tomorrow.
