Hahnville football coach Daniel Luquet resigned from his position this week after 4 seasons with the team.

Several sources have confirmed to By-U Sports that Luquet informed his team and staff of the decision this morning, ending his run with the team.

Hahnville hired Luquet during the COVID year. He had limited success with the team posting a 19-18 record in his career.

The past season was uncharacteristically rough for Hahnville, which finished 3-6 and missed the playoffs.

Hahnville is regarded as one of the best jobs in the state with talented players and resources available to be successful. When Luquet was hired, he was one of dozens who applied for the job.
