The South Lafourche High School football team continued their spring practices on Friday with an open scrimmage showcasing to fans the hard work the team has been doing.
New starting quarterback Josh Mack looked solid during the day, as did halfbacks Landin Dardar, Dray Hughes, Kentrell Shepard and receivers Terrance Pitre, Jacob Pitre, Cullen St. Amant and others.
They all were making plays behind a mammoth, powerful offensive line that should be the strength of the team.
Defensively, the Tarpons are young, but Kade Nelson had some bright moments, as did Tucker Dantin and others.
