Vandebilt Catholic’s title-winning former head softball coach has found his new home on the river.

Former Terriers coach Jeremy Duplantis was introduced this past week as the coach at Hahnville, giving the Tigers a big new addition to their program.

Duplantis resigned from Vandebilt earlier this summer after leading the Terriers to the 2024 Division II Select State Softball Championship. During his time with the Terriers, Vandebilt also finished as a State Runner-Up and re-established themselves as one of the best programs in the state of Louisiana.

Now, the challenge is going to be to get Hahnville to that level. The Tigers finished 18-14 this past season and were the No. 17 overall seed in Division I Non-Select.

Hahnville won in the opening round, but then fell to No. 1 Dutchtown.

The Terriers have yet to publicly announce Duplantis’ replacement.
