Summer is about to wind down and school is right around the corner, which means it’s about to be a super busy time for us in our continued journey to follow local athletics in the Bayou Region.
But there still is some work being done locally, so let’s hand out a couple more DTB Clothing Players of the Week.

DTB CLOTHING GIRLS’ PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tyanna Stewart, Vandebilt Catholic – Stewart has continued to have a big summer for Louisiana United, proving herself to scouts and coaches around the area who are seeing that she, too, is one of the many next-level players on the Terriers’ roster. Stewart was recently named as a Stock Riser for the Class of 2026 by LGR for her amazing work this summer on the AAU Circuit.

DTB CLOTHING BOYS’ PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Rhett Dardar, Holy Rosary – Rhett Dardar had an awesome summer for the DTB Track Team. With the season now complete, Dardar was recently awarded as being the team’s 2024 Recipient of the Most Medals during the summer, bringing home 7 medals. Dardar is a thrower who has a bright future in our area – a young man who puts a lot of work into his craft.
