One of the largest youth sports organizations in the Bayou Region is ready to welcome the community back for another season.
South Lafourche Biddy Basketball announced their registration is open for the 2024 season, which is quickly approaching in the fall.

In-person registration will also be offered and dates will be made available next week. Cost to register for South Lafourche Biddy is $40/child, and the child’s jersey is included with that fee. Games will be played in the fall for all age groups with games spread out in both Cut Off and Larose.
The cut off birthday for placement in 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U is September 1, 2024, and those games will begin in September. The cut off birthday for Iddy Biddy placemant is Oct. 15, 2024. Those games begin in mid-October. Iddy Biddy ages are from 4-6.
Sign-up deadlines for both Biddy and Iddy Biddy will run through mid-to-late August.
South Lafourche Biddy will release more information about the upcoming season in the coming days and weeks, and contests will also be held to win free registrations. Last season, South Lafourche Biddy revamped their approach and was more interactive and social media friendly, handing out awards for Player of the Game, Team of the Week and much more. This year, the league hopes to continue to take things to the next level and create a fun-filled experience for aspiring youth basketball players. The league has produced countless notable alums, including most of the current members of the South Lafourche Basketball Teams and even collegiate players like Traya Bruce and others.
