The boys on the field are going to remember this day for the rest of their lives.

The Vandebilt Catholic 8th grade football team traveled up to New Orleans and played a game in the Caesar’s Superdome, a special bonus for the local middle school team.

The icing on the cake is that the Terriers were successful, scoring a win over Holy Cross in the opener to start the season off 1-0.

The game was part of a series of games played in the Superdome today.

The Terriers players and coaches did their best to not be wide-eyed, despite playing in the famous venue, taking care of business to push to a season-opening win over a quality opponent.

Congratulations to the boys on starting off the season on the right foot.
