This week’s Gengatorz Power Players of the Week recognize an E.D. White quarterback standout and also an 8th grader at the school who is doing some big, big things.

GENGATORZ GIRLS’ POWER PLAYER OF THE WEEK: E.D. White 8th grader Immi Ingram – 8th grader Immi Ingram had a 19 point, 7 rebound, and 4 steal game last week. She also had a 14 point, 3 rebound and 3 steal game – all for an E.D. White team that is undefeated this season. Is Ingram playing for the Cardinals’ middle school team? Nah, she’s an 8th grader starting and contributing on the Cardinals’ varsity. The young Ingram’s strong start to the season is one of the big stories in the young season as the Cardinals have surged out to a fast start.
GENGATORZ BOYS’ POWER PLAYER OF THE WEEK: E.D. White junior Grant Barbera – With the season on the line, E.D. White standout Grant Barbera came to life. With the Cardinals down a point against rival Vandebilt, Barbera orchestrated an amazing 2-minute drive, capping it with a long touchdown drive capped with a perfectly threaded pass to Ben Guidry in the back corner of the end zone to push the Cardinals’ forward and clinch another E.D. White win.
