New York Jets quarterback and future NFL Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers has become a controversial figure in recent years.
But earlier this week, Rodgers said something that will be very pleasing to many in the Bayou Region.
Giving a media availability period before Christmas, Rodgers talked about how he hopes the Jets finish the season strong and build momentum before 2025.
In discussing the importance of doing things the right way to turn around habits in a locker room, Rodgers went out of his way to single out and applaud teammate Jarius Monroe.
Monroe is a former Nicholls standout defensive back who then transferred to Tulane to end his collegiate career. Earlier this week, Monroe was signed from the Jets’ practice squad to the active roster. Rodgers said that move was a great decision and he said Monroe is a testament to hard work paying off.
