Thibodaux has its new football coach.
Athletic Director Tony Clark confirmed to By-U Sports today that Ascension Catholic football coach Lowell Narcisse will be the next head coach at Thibodaux.
Narcisse was chosen amongst a pool of applicants. He will replace Drey Trosclair, who was relieved of his duties in the middle of last season.
Narcisse is a big name locally.
He was a standout player at St. James who played collegiately. He then got into coaching and was the head coach at Ascension Catholic last season, helping to lead the team to a deep playoff run in his first season.
With Thibodaux, the schedule is far stiffer. Narcisse will be jumping into one of the most competitive districts in the state.
But the Tigers also have talent with several gifted playmakers returning off last year’s team, which made the playoffs.
