Today was one of my favorite days ever as a journalist.
Snow came and it was like when the first flake fell, someone turned the ‘off’ switch on all of the BS on social media and turned the ‘on’ switch on the fun.
As soon as the first flakes fell, we summoned your help on social media. And boy, was that fun.
We asked for photos and videos of our student-athletes and we got tons, and did they ever make us smile.
We saw our local kids … being kids.
We saw some of the best athletes in our area outside of the realm of competition and showing their free-spiritedness and just kicking back and … being a kid.
To our readers, YOU ARE THE MVP.
We saw all of the photos and videos that you sent. To put them all on our site would have bogged down our servers. But we did upload a bunch.
They’re too good not to.
