
The Central Lafourche boys’ soccer team is adding another trophy to its trophy case.
The Trojans clinched the district championship today in a 4-0 win over South Terrebonne – giving the team its second-straight district title for the boys.
Central Lafourche won the District 8-II crown in dominant fashion, not allowing a single goal in any district game.
The Trojans are one of the top teams in the state, currently sitting at No. 5 in the Division II power ratings. Soccer is not a sport with a “split.” The Trojans are the top-ranked public school team in their classification.
Central Lafourche has been consistent throughout the year, boasting a 16-4-4 mark with the losses coming to top-flight competition.
