Troy has been active offering local players in recent weeks, offering several Terrebonne High School players and now Jones, who is one of the top sophomores in the state at his position.
The 6-foot, 2-inch, 174-pound safety is a multi-sport standout. He also excels in boys’ basketball and track.
Jones said he is grateful for the offer and he looks forward to getting more in his career.
