On the day that the Lions’ senior standout signed a college scholarship to play football at Nicholls, the CCA striker also reached two other milestones: scoring the 100th goal of his prep soccer career and helping to lead his team to the Division IV State Quarterfinals.
The Lions got a 2-1 win over Sarah Reed in the second round of the Division IV State Playoffs, moving on to the Round of 8 where they will face No. 2 Ascension Episcopal.
Hebert scored a goal in the win – the 100th of his career. He and the Lions are now 3 wins away from the State Championship.
