Cortez is a senior paint option for the Cardinals who has been a primary offensive option for the team for the past several seasons.
The senior has evolved her game during her career. Once primarily a paint scorer, Cortez has now expanded her range and can score from both midrange and even behind the 3-point line if given space.
The Cardinals are one of the top teams in the state in Division II Select and Cortez is one of the driving forces in the team’s successes.
