Thibodaux slayed a state and national powerhouse this weekend, scoring arguably the most impressive win for any team in our area this season.

The Tigers beat reigning National Champion Catholic (BR) 2-1 today, scoring a mammoth win over a program that is again a state power, coming into the game undefeated with a 7-0 and ranked No. 11 in America.

Bryce Templet and Brody Trosclair tag-teamed the effort on the mound, limiting the Bears and keeping them off-balance throughout the game.

With the win, the Tigers are now 5-4.

Thibodaux got their only offense in the game from Spencer Conrad who hit a two-run home run in the 2nd inning to put the Tigers on top for good.
