West was listed as a senior all season, but had one year of eligibility due to the COVID eligibility freeze. He entered the portal at the end of the season.
With UTEP, West will be joining a team that was 18-15 last season in the Conference USA.
He is expected to be a regular contributor for the Miners in 2025-2026.
