Berwick is re-hiring its former baseball coach to lead the program into the future.

Seth Henry will be leading the Panthers into the future, replacing coach Cody Ortego who resigned at the end of the 2025 season.

Ortego had success. He led the Panthers to the playoffs in 2-straight seasons, including a Sulphur appearance in 2024.

Henry will be inheriting a team that was the No. 6 seed in Division III Non-Select and had a solid season. In his first stint at Berwick, the Panthers had immense success, making multiple trips to Sulphur, including in 2023 when the team won the State Championship.

The Panthers have talent and have always had success. Henry will be stepping into a good situation with hopes to lead the Panthers to continued prominence. He resigned in 2023 to accept a job outside of the school system.
