A Vandebilt Catholic slugger has announced his collegiate commitment.
Recent graduate Ethan Robert announced on social media today that he has committed to Nunez Community College – his home for the next two seasons.
Robert was a middle of the order bat for the Terriers, who made multiple deep runs in the LHSAA State Playoffs during his career, including a push to the State Semifinals this past season.
Robert is a consistent bat, but also a plus-glove. He will likely compete for early playing time at Nunez before looking to transfer a 4-year school later in his career.
“I am excited to announce that I will be continuing my athletic and academic journey at Nunez Community College,” he said. “I would like to thank my family and coaches who have supported me throughout this journey. It’s just the beginning.”
Robert is one of several signees in the Class of 2025 in our area. Several others are playing summer baseball with hopes of being seen and getting their shot to compete at the next level.
