For the second-straight day, a Terrebonne High School lineman has committed to his collegiate home.

Lineman Chris Stewart announced on social media today that he has committed to Southern, giving him his collegiate home for the future.

Stewart has one more season to play. He is a 6-foot, 2-inch, 270-pound offensive and defensive lineman for the Tigers who has had success at both spots.

He said he chose Southern because of the rapport he built with the team’s coaches and players and also to honor his grandfather who played for the Jaguars and played in the first Bayou Classic.

Stewart has risen up recruiting boards in recent months due to his strong performance last season, in the spring and at camps throughout the summer.

Terrebonne has become a recruiting hotbed. The Tigers had Tadan Bingham announce his commitment to Louisiana Tech yesterday, and several other players at the school are currently fielding offers with commitments set to come in the future months as we get closer to the 2025 season and beyond.
