The Thibodaux High School football team continued to soar this weekend, posting another strong showing at a prominent 7-on-7 event.
The Tigers competed at the Tyrann Mathieu 7-on-7 Tournament in New Orleans, faring incredibly well against the competition throughout the day.
Thibodaux finished as the runners-up in the tournament, falling only to St. Augustine in the Championship Game.
The Tigers are in Year 1 under new coach Lowell Narcisse. Thibodaux has a slew of talented playmakers returning off last season’s playoff team, and the Tigers are hopeful to blossom and grow from a first-round playoff team to a team with a chance to make some big-time noise in our area.
Thibodaux has competed well in 7-on-7 drills throughout the summer and the Tigers are hoping to carry that momentum over into the regular season.
