A Terrebonne High School defensive lineman has made his collegiate decision – giving the Tigers yet another commitment amongst their loaded senior class.

Senior defensive lineman Julian Coleman Jr. committed to the University of Arkansas-Monticello recently, giving the Tigers their fourth player committed this summer – all amongst linemen.

Coleman is a 6-foot, 310-pound lineman who plays defensive tackle. Coleman is a prominent returnee who was First-Team All-District last season in the Tigers’ loaded district which features both Bayou Region and River Parish powers. He is a full academic qualifier with a 3.3 GPA.

Coleman had interest from several programs around the Southeast before picking UAM, which has a local pipeline with several players in the Bayou Region playing there over the past several years.

Tigers coach Tyler Lewis said he is proud of Coleman and all of the team’s committed seniors with more to follow in the coming months. He said this group exemplifies hard work, dedication and buying in to a program.

“This is a special group,” he said. “They have all done everything that we have asked of them and have gone above and beyond.”
