Terrebonne head football coach Tyler Lewis was chosen to be the head coach of a football camp this weekend in New Orleans.
Lewis announced on social media today that he will be the Head Coach of the USMC Sports Football Camp, which will take place Saturday in New Orleans.
Lewis has been Terrebonne’s coach for the past 3 seasons and will be entering year 4 in the fall. During his time with Terrebonne, he has done good work to change the culture of the program. Roster numbers are up and the team has made on-field strides every season, missing the playoffs in his first season, then making the playoffs as a Round 1 road team in Year 2 before hosting a Round 1 game in Year 3.
Lewis has said on many occasions that he works hard in the offseason to build connections and relationships to both better himself as a coach, but also to make connections that let his players land at the next level.
The Tigers have several Class of 2026 seniors committed to Division I college programs with several more to come in the upcoming weeks.
