CCA has added two to their 2026 baseball coaching staff – names who land with the Lions with collegiate experience and a hunger to get into coaching.

Coach Joe Teuton announced that he’s hired former E.D. White and Nicholls pitcher Dylan Bergeron to his staff as well as former South Terrebonne and William and Carey slugger Cam Trosclair.

Teuton said Bergeron will work with the Lions’ pitchers and catchers and Trosclair will work with the hitters and first basemen.

Both players are decorated on the field. Bergeron was stellar at E.D. White before a junior college career then a stint at Nicholls. Trosclair was one of the area’s big bats at South Terrebonne before becoming a collegiate slugger. Both exhausted their collegiate eligibility and are now turning to coaching, jumping into a red-hot Lions program that was undefeated last season before losing in the Division IV Select Semifinals in Sulphur.

Teuton said both young coaches will work with the middle school program heavily, but they will also have roles at the high school level as well.
