A generous donation from a local family will help student-athletes at South Lafourche High School keep up with the Joneses and get bigger, faster and stronger in the future.
The school commemorated and celebrated Mike Callais and the Callais Family today for their large donation to help upgrade the school’s Weight Room.
The upgrades were made possible in part due to contributions from the Callais Family – donations made in memory of Harold, Peter and Paul Callais. The school also got donations from Hank Danos and Ross Chouest to make the project possible.
The Tarpon’s renovated weight room will allow student-athletes a space to see success in a safe environment. The Tarpons have been working out hard throughout the summer across all sports to try and see gains to make strides.
