An E.D. White soon to be freshman is officially one of the top triple jumpers in the country for her age.

Standout Immi Ingram placed 5th at nationals in the 14U division for triple jump, unleashing a 36-foot, 10.25-inch jump to earn her place.

Ingram was the top jumper of all Louisiana jumpers and was competing against 47 of the best triple jumpers in the state who all qualified for the meet. By finishing as high as she did, Ingram also took home All-American honors.

Ingram was competing and representing the Tri-City Flyers. She was a standout basketball player for E.D. White last season but is also a decorated track and field athlete who will be a force there as well.

She is one of several locals who are going to be competing throughout the week in the Houston area.
