Terrebonne freshman Londyn White is a standout athlete – a young lady who is about to become a household name locally for her prowess in all of the respective sports she will play at the prep level.
But let the record show that no matter how many kills White gets on the volleyball floor nor how many 3’s she makes on the basketball hardwood, this kid is a winner – a winner who truly has a heart of gold.
White recently gave back – an annual tradition for her – giving a basket of school supplies to Southdown Elementary School as a means to give back. White has done this her entire life – since she, herself, was a student at the school.
White has a huge heart for giving and loves to help others. She does the giveback in honor of her late Aunt Aungalee (Joi) Washington who passed away in 2018 at just 30.
“I am super proud of her constantly thinking of others and remembering to be the change we want to see in our world,” White’s mother, Sierra Lyons said on social media.
White makes the donation at the start of each school year.
