Future South Lafourche High School Tarpons will be taking the field this weekend and they want the community to turn out and give them some support.
South Lafourche Bantam Football is hosting the Vikings this Saturday for a triple header with games set for the team’s field at the Larose Civic Center Park.
The Tarpons will play at 9 (C-Team), 10:30 (B-Team) and noon (A-Team) – all against the Vikings.
Cost to get in is $5 for adults with kids 5 and under getting in free.
Come hungry. South Lafourche Bantam Football said they are selling $5 jambalaya and $5 grillades with regular concession available as well.
South Lafourche Bantam Football has been trying to revamp itself in recent years trying to grow its numbers to try and re-spark interest in youth football. The South Lafourche High School football program has worked to try and get involved with the kids and all of the teams have large coaching staffs to help the teams.
