An E.D. White slugger and pitcher is going to be playing Division I softball.
Junior Shelbee Gros announced on social media that she has committed to Louisiana Tech, giving her a home in the Division I ranks when her prep days are done.
Gros is a good one. She is one of the top players in our area and in the state. She is an impact player as both a hitter and pitcher for E.D. White with tremendous pop in her bat.
Gros had interest from several schools around the area and beyond. She chose to play for Louisiana Tech.
The Cardinals standout will now have 2 full seasons of prep softball to try and finish her career with a bang.
E.D. White has been an annual contender and a Sulphur team. The team hopes to take the next steps and win the State Championship.
