We love Blue Boot Bombs and the community has shown that it does, too.

One little slugger had a big weekend of bombs, launching 5 to help power her 7U team to a massive weekend on the diamond.

But here’s the catch.

She’s a little girl … playing on a team full of boys.

Emersyn Navarre of the 7u Tarpons travel team hit 5 home runs this weekend, including a towering grand slam home run that helped power the team. Emersyn is arguably the team’s biggest bat. The 5 Blue Boot Bombs were the most of anyone on the team this weekend.

We spoke to the youngster this week and she said that she loves to play baseball with her friends and she loves to show the boys that girls can hit it out the park, too.

“I like to show people I can hit when they doubt me because I’m a girl,” Emersyn said with a smile, before adding that hitting a home run is one of a kind. “It’s the best feeling. I feel amazing.”

Young Emersyn said that she loves playing baseball with her teammates and friends, saying that it’s one of the funnest things that she’s able to do.

She said that she wants to thank her coaches for being awesome and said that being part of a travel ball team is among her favorite times of the year.

“Going play different places with my teammates and my coaches is the best,” she said.

The little youth slugger may be able to hit it far, but that is also because she is a student of the game.

She said she enjoys to follow the sport as closely as she can. Emersyn said that her favorite player is one of the others who have shown that girls can hit, too!

“Kelsey Whitmore,” she said when asked who her favorite player is. “She played with the Savannah Bananas and also was the first No. 1 pick of the Women’s Professional Baseball League.”

When not on the diamond, Emersyn said she loves living her best life and she has plans to enjoy her summer. She said that she plans to continue to work hard in her sports and hopes to continue to grow and get better and better while also enjoying being a kid.

“Hanging out with my teammates outside of baseball,” Emersyn said when asked her favorite things to do outside of the sport. “Because we are all family now.”

PUBLISHER’S NOTE: Keep swinging, kid! We love to see you shine!
