Wow.

LSU absolutely dominated Clemson on Saturday in a lopsided blowout that looked like a cupcake game against a FCS school.

Here’s our 5 games.

TAKE 1: LSU is good – This is why you leave a poverty program for a Blue Blood. LSU invested, built a machine and got the coach for that roster. This LSU team is fricken good. They dominated every phase.

TAKE 2: That defense – LSU’s defense flew to the ball, made tackles, had swagger and absolutely dominated at the line of scrimmage. And oh yeah; they’re young. When was the last time Clemson got beat like this? It’s been a long time.

TAKE 3: Sam Leavitt … enough said – Sam Leavitt was a little loosey goosey with his arm early but he settled in with his legs, then got the passing game going and looked every bit like a guy who could win that big trophy that Jayden Daniels’ mom wants LSU to give back.

TAKE 4: The run game – LSU never had a run game under Brian Kelly. Never. Jayden Daniels broke runs on busted plays but the actual run game with the backs was so crisp. Kelly never had that. Kiffin had it. It was so good to see.

TAKE 5: The Vibe – From the basketball goals on the sidelines to the 2-point conversion up 41 to the trolling in the halftime interview and hundreds of celebrities on the sidelines, LSU is a vibe now. Every recruit in the country just saw that performance and is drooling. And it’s just getting started.

TAKE 6: Dabo might be done – Dabo doesn’t recruit the portal. It shows. Clemson has been on a slide for years and tonight was an absolute testament to how shopping beats home grown every day of the week.

TAKE 7: This is fun again – Writing these last year was so hard. I had to force myself to do it. Not tonight. This was fun to watch.

TAKE 8: Go Louisville – Oh, how glorious the melt would be tomorrow.
