Lafayette Renaissance beat Thibodaux 26-8 on Friday night in Thibodaux.
The visitors controlled the scoreboard at home for the Tigers and walked out with a Week 10 win. Thibodaux drops to 7-3 with the loss.
Renaissance limited Thibodaux’s offense and made enough plays to keep the home crowd quiet on a Friday Night Football night that never tilted the Tigers’ way. Thibodaux reached the end zone once but could not mount a sustained comeback against a visitor that stayed ahead throughout.

The setback snaps some of Thibodaux’s late-season momentum and leaves the Tigers at 7-3 heading into the final stretch of the regular season. By-U Sports will continue covering Thibodaux and the rest of local prep football through the closing weeks.
