E.D. White is headed to the Cajundome. The second-seeded Cardinals beat No. 15 Pearl River 3-1 on Friday in the Division II regional round of the LHSAA volleyball playoffs.
Set scores were 25-10, 20-25, 25-15, 25-11. E.D. White dominated the opener, but Pearl River answered by taking the second set to even the match. The Cardinals regained control in the third and pulled away in the fourth to finish it off at home in Thibodaux.
The win followed E.D. White’s 3-0 sweep of McDonogh 35 in the bi-district round earlier in the week, keeping the Cardinals’ deep playoff run on track.
